As I get older, I realize that I can’t just “live” in my space. I feel the pull to create a better world for those around me; especially those that come after. When we strive to create vibrant, healthy, and financially viable communities it is better for everyone.
Coeur d’Alene is already doing a pretty good job, but there is always room for improvement. Let’s start to put PEOPLE first in everything we do.
We need to create a community that is safe for all people. Whether you are a person walking, biking, taking public transit, are a disabled individual, or driving.
Let’s create public spaces filled with local artists works, greenery, and where people want to be. Not more concrete superhighways.
