A middle-aged woman striving to grow car-free spaces to create vibrant, healthy, & viable places. Bicycles+Rock & Roll+Wine+Cocktails & of course Dessert.
Had an epiphany moment when I decided to ride my fat tire bike (7 speed) up to a hill that I can do without a lot of huffing on my road bike (21 speed). (Also was 29 degrees). Halfway up with burning lungs and tires almost coming to complete stop I considered turning around.
Instead, I dug deep and made it to the top. This isn’t always how I have lived my life. Often when things were hard I turned around. But I was reminded that day of the feeling I have every time I don’t backpedal or speed in the opposite direction.
I’ve worked as a Content Marketing Manager for several companies, and specialize in creating many different types of content. At this time there are limited openings for new clients. Feel free to contact me about availability.
Today I work part-time for the Kootenai Environmental Alliance as Administrative Program Director and part-time for the North Idaho Small Business Development Center (NISBDC) as Marketing Director and Business Coach. Plus, still doing freelance work for various businesses and organizations in the Northwest.
I want to help build places that people want to be, bring back community, and grow car-free spaces and culture in our local communities.
