Creating a Stronger Community
As I get older, I realize that I can’t just “live” in my space. I feel the pull to create a better world for those around me; especially those that come after. When we strive to create vibrant, healthy, and financially viable communities it is better for everyone.
Coeur d’Alene is already doing a pretty good job, but there is always room for improvement. Let’s start to put PEOPLE first in everything we do.

About Me
I am not a cyclist. — I am a wife, mother of three, business owner, business coach, community advocate, & human being.
Had an epiphany moment when I decided to ride my seven speed fat tire bike up a hill that I can do without a lot of huffing on my twenty one speed road bike.
Halfway up with burning lungs and tires almost coming to complete stop I considered turning around.
Instead I dug deep and made it to the top. This isn’t always how I have lived my life. Often when things were hard I turned around.
But I was reminded that day of the feeling I have every time I don’t back pedal or speed in the opposite direction.

We Need Community
We need to create a community that is safe for all people. Whether you are a person walking, biking, taking public transit, are disabled, or driving.
Let’s create public spaces filled with local artists work, greenery, and where people want to be. Not more concrete superhighways.
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart. — Helen Keller
For a community to be whole and healthy must be based on people’s love and concern for each other — Millard Fuller
